GOV Films is dedicated to utilizing this art form, through the production of gripping features and unorthodox documentaries, to assist in the awakening of the planet to health conscious and environmentally friendly life styles that fulfill all the wants and needs of people today. We guide our audience along a mystical journey of inner transformation by capturing the imagination, altering perception & educating the modern mind with the wisdom of the ancients. In all our endeavors, we shall: address the needs and conditions of the world around us; foster ecological awareness; and contribute to the preservation of at-risk wisdoms & heritage. GOV Films Features a television and film content creation and production organization with bases in Los Angeles (Hollywood), New York, Florida & Hawaii. GOV Films aims to develop and produce films that promote an organic and holistic lifestyle that improves the environment of Planet Earth and the health of every person living on it. Our films have a global appeal for families and people of all ages.

Our goal is to deliver captivating television series', educational DVD series' and feature-length films with such emotional impact that they become broadly promoted by word-of-mouth and have a healing effect on all peoples and the planet as a whole. We will achieve this by:

GOV Films Founder: Dr. Chang Yi Hsiang, Taoist Master

Dr. Chang is a Taoist Master and Content Supervisor. She is the President of the World Medicine Institute in Honolulu, Hawaii. WMI is a fully accredited Masters degree program specializing in Oriental Medicine. Dr. Chang is the 64th generation Taoist lineage holder of a 2000-year-old tradition inherited from the Han Dynasty. Over the years, Dr. Chang has collected many medical classics of traditional diagnosis through pulse and five element theory; an original inherited copy of a classical acupuncture textbook dating from the Sung Dynasty; and priceless statues of the Taoist Immortals.

She holds a medical doctoral degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ph.D.'s in Chinese Philosophy and Integrated Medicine from China and a PH. D in Immunology & Cross-Cultural Anthropology from the U.S. Dr. Chang trained in in Harvard's 'Higher Education Administrators Program' and was a members of 'Presidents of Higher education America'. Other honors include being named “Outstanding Young Woman of America” during the American 1976 Bicentennial Celebration and designation by the 12th State Legislature of Hawaii as a "Living Treasure of Hawaii", a lifetime title. In 1974, Governor of Hawaii George Ariyoshi appointed Dr. Chang to serve as a Commissioner on the first Hawaii State Board of Acupuncture. She was selected President of the Chinese Acupuncturist and Herbalist Association of America for eight years. Dr. Chang has taught healing exercises, Taoist philosophy, acupuncture, and herbal medicine in Asia and the United States for over thirty years. She is a 64th generation lineage holder in Taoism and conducts rituals world wide for public, world & interfaith peace. She has perform on Public Television for Mind-Body health for the last two years. Her last performance was in May 2009 on one of the worlds two best education channels. Her daily practice includes treating drug detoxification and her interns and licensed practitioners treat more than 100 drug detoxification patients every week. She participates in the medical research evaluation of native Hawaiian plants to preserve endangered plant species. Her goal is to perpetuate this heritage and the natural resources.

In her leisure time, she practices charm calligraphy using both hands which is a special technique of brain development that prevents memory loss. Some of her specialties include Taoist nutrition & medical healing exercises. From age 6 she has practiced Taoist healing chants daily. She wrote many books, including 'Taoist Magical Mudras, 'Hand Book for Professional Acupuncturists', 'How to live like an Immortal', 'Dictionary of Chinese Medicine', and for the last 30 years she has written a Taoist forecast book (latest in 2009). She continues daily studies of secrets Taoist Cannon and maintains the traditional wisdom and knowledge of these secret books. She has been a professor and associate professor, doing research & giving student lectures, at universities like Beijing University, Sichuan University, University of Hawaii, Sorbonne University & Cambridge University. Her continued research and lectures include asthma, cancer, drug detoxification and more.
